While I was trying to figure out what was going on with the login, tried it on a Samsung tablet. That's an Android operating system running Chrome. Same thing. I called a friend who does software evaluation using a PC and MAC. He had exactly th same issues running Chrome on a PC. I think that covers the "try another browser" suggestion.
