Two Athearn worms #G40063 and # ATH34128 - what is the difference between them, if any?

Hi,

I have one question related to Athearn worms #ATHG40063 and #ATH34128 - what is the difference between these two worms?

Both are made of brass, despite the picture of second showing a plastic worm. The second also has two bearings and a cup, i.e. the whole assembly. But I am interested to know if there is any difference between worms only (shape, diameter etc.)?

Thanks.

I'll have to check the more recent Athearns I have to see if any of them have the plastic worm.

If I do, I'll measure them.  I have plenty of the brass worms.

Thanks. Plastic worm on the picture (this is old version that is in fact replaced by brass one) has diameter of 7,16 mm. The brass worm ATH34128 is little smaller (approximately 7,08 mm) - I have some, so I know.

What is do not know, if there is in fact any difference compared to ATHG40063, because I do not have this one. These two look the same, at least looking on picture of ATHG40063.
