It had received quite a beating in a car accident decades ago, when a Dutchman decided to park his car inside mine while he was doing 100mph. I was fortunate to drive my Dad´s car, a Mercedes S 350, when the guy rear-ended it. He did not make it, while I escaped with a broken shoulder and some minor cuts and bruises.
