Ulrich - Which arm do you have in a sling ? Left ? Is it related to your heart condition ?
Fortunately not! It´s my right shoulder. It had received quite a beating in a car accident decades ago, when a Dutchman decided to park his car inside mine while he was doing 100mph. I was fortunate to drive my Dad´s car, a Mercedes S 350, when the guy rear-ended it. He did not make it, while I escaped with a broken shoulder and some minor cuts and bruises.
No I had an "Oblation" it is where they get to the heart by going through the veins around ones groin ( ouch !) and travel into the heart
I had that done a couple of years ago and remember it to be quite painful - afterwards.
