I'm assuming that Christopher has problems with Mexico, South America and SE Asia because of the standard of living that most factory workers have there as opposed to those in Canada, Australia, England Germany or Italy. Of course I hate to think what the cost of a Atlas/Kato/Proto engine would be if it were made in a factory in England! <br /> <br />The manufacturers are going to respond to what their customers want. As long as they think they can make more profit by manufacturing higher detailed items in low wage countries, that is what they are going to do. Have everyone that is buying these things switch over and purchase the same amount of product from Athearn (blue box), MDC, detail associates etc. then the manufacturers would adjust accordingly.
