Pentrex put out a 2-DVD set called Today's Steam Across America that's pretty good. I think you'll like it. Try www.pentrex.com

I got a 3-DVD set called "America's Railroads" as a Christmas present. I've watched some of them - good stuff, a lot of it comes from the railroads themselves. Supposedly 2 hours per disc, total of 6 hours. SOme good 'bonus' stuff on it too - some early Edison films for example.

"Railfanning Southern California in the the 1950s" by Pentrex. Very, very sweet. Lots of color vintage freight car footage.

"Big Boy Collection" by Pentrex. You get to see the king of all steam from all angles. Black & white and color too. Every unit number 4000-4024. I highly recommend it.
