Good Afternoon! After a bright and sunny start, the day has turned into a dull and grey one again. Still no sign of Spring [:'(] I had my meeting with the ticker doc and his vampires this morning. They ran their entire rather sadistic program with me, including drawing a gallon of my blood from my veins. The results will be available by Monday afternoon. I don´t know whether I am feeling better or not. Here I sit, fat and dumb, contemplating life ... Oh no! Stop the press! When I came home there was a parcel containing some of the scenic stuff I ordered a week ago - just a rattle can of paint and two small bag of WS Fine Turf - "Weeds" and Yellow Grass". I sprinkled some of that schtuff over the existing green and sprayed the lot with my home brewed scenic cement - a mixture of white glue, detergent and water. While that was drying, I coverec the layout in a cut-up plastc bag with only those blue-green fir trees looking out. I sprayed them with Tamiya`s Drab Olive from the rattle can, followed by a generous spray coat with my brew and more trhan just a sprinkle of WS Blended Turf. The trees look much better, the blueish hue is gone, and they have a better texture. <img src="http://i682.photobucket.com/albums/vv185/SirMadig/P1100404_zpsmox5lotq.jpg" alt=" " /> There is an order of more fir trees on its way, but that will be it for a while, as I have already spent the April budget. Ken - MBH (my better half) is just the other way around. Everything has to be neat and tidy 24/7. The whole apartment gets dusted & vacuumed daily, the kitchen is immediately cleaned up after each meal. You won´t find anything just laying around without a purpose. As much as I like things neat and tidy, there are times when I can´t avoid messing thisngs up. This is when I get "the look" and I tell ya, you don´t want that! Talking of "the look" - I earned it today. The paint was rather smelly ... [:-^] OK, that´s all for now - I´ll hide out in the backbooth!
