On several of my code 100 switches the grommet securing the moving rail has detached where the grommet holds it to the plastic rail. Any fixes for this?

I used a piece of K&S tubing to fix one many years ago. I flared the end of the tubing and stuck it up through the moving tie and soldered it to the moving rail then I wacked it off with flush cutters, I guess it worked OK it’s been that way for years.I should have replaced it but it wasn’t an easy task, too much going on around the turnout. It was easier to insert the tubing through the throw arm hole from below.Mel My Model Railroad http://melvineperry.blogspot.com/ Bakersfield, California I'm beginning to realize that aging is not for wimps.
