Good Morning! The death toll of the Bad Aibling train accident has risen to 10 now and could even go higher. Inquieries into what caused the two trains running head-on on the same track continue. While some allocate the responsibilty to the dispatcher acting carelessly, others state that, given all the electronic security devices, it had required a "deliberate act" of terrorism. I wonder whether we will ever learn the real cause! Looking at the grim statistics of train wrecks in Germany in the past 50 years, it is interesting to see that most of them happened in Bavaria - maybe too much [B]? John - thanks for posting the tube map. Brings back memories of my time in London, when I was taking to District Line from Ealing Broadway to Embankment station every morning. That´s a quarter of a century ago - [sigh] No saw in the mail today - I am miffed (pardon this BE expression)!
