T&P Caboose Decals (HO)
Posted by mreagant on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 3:58 PM

Just picked up a couple of wood side drover cabooses that I want to decal for the Texas & Pacific. They will not be prototypically correct, but I can live with something close to the real deal. Problem is that I can't find any decals that get even close to what I find in my reference books. Time period would be pre 1960.

Anybody got any ideas?

I figured you were looking for freight type decals.

Thanks. I've seen those and decided that won't work. On second look, I might be able to make them close since the cabooses are not proto either.

Appreciate it.

Can we see a picture of your model please?

T&P also had ”Blind End” or “Muley” Cabooses.

Blue/Cream F’s or a Steamer would be great if you decide to model a freight train.

So you want to set you layout in the late 40’s/late 50’s?

Ex: (1948-1958)
