After I figured out how to open up the tender , the screws that attach the trucks were lost. The trucks are held in by screws in the tender . The screws are held in by nuts in the inside . Would anyone have any? , need two
Thanks in Advance

Bachmann tender trucks are attached the same way with the nut under the decoder.
Maybe someone will know what size they are. We have 3 hardware stores near me, 2 Tru Value and one Ace. Only one of those has an assortment of "micro screws" It's one of those 9 compartment boxes and all the different screws and nuts are mixed up in all the compartments.

I have several Bachmann engines with tender trucks that attach this way, so I took the shell off of one to have a look, and I think the screw/nut size is 2/56. I don't have one of the Athearn engines, but I'd imagine that it would probably be the same. For the OP, if it is 2/56 size, I've bought 2/56 nuts and screws at Ace Hardware stores in the past, if you have any in your area and can get to one, there's a good chance that you'll be able to find some.

Audioquest,
Yes, as Henry put it well, please add updates to old threads if the subject matter is an extension of it. Thank you for your understanding.

Welcome to the forums.
My local independent hardware store carries tiny bolts. If you have the nut, put it in a Zip Loc bag and take it with you. You can match it up right at the store.
Good luck,
