Furlow's HOn3 San Juan Central ressurrected

Hi All, this is my first post to this forum. Went to update my profile and I discovered that when I signed up here years I stated that I had tried to build the SJC back in '85 and would someday return to it. Well I'm hoping that time has arrived. I've constructed a building for it in my backyard, unpacked what was left of the original attempt (Montrose section) and have begun benchwork. As I'm not a hard core modeler (yet), I'm hoping for encouragement and advice from this group; given my history in the hobby I'm going to need lots of cheerleading! I've set up a website to document my progress. Hope you'll take the time to read it and view the pictures.
The website is: http://slc.berkeley.edu/sjc/sjc05.htm
Would enjoy hearing from others who have built this terrific layout.
Happy New Year to all!

If you want to see the original, there are pictures at:

http://www.pacificcoastairlinerr.com/santa_clara/

They are in Layout Tour Two and the third page. The pictures were taken at Charles Getz's home, he is the present owner.
Thank you if you visit
