Well I got Sam Posey's book, "Playing With Trains". It was so-so.

The better presents were the ones I bought myself -- a SF CF7, some freight cars, and a couple MR books from Kalmbach.

Well, I was saving my money to get myself a post-Christmas present from BLI--their Santa Fe 2-10-2, when I found out that BLI has thrown the release date back to April! Nuts! So I went on the net and started looking and lo and behold, Peach Creek Shops had a brass Missabe 2-8-8-4 for about the same price I was going to pay for the BLI. And custom painted as DM&IR #231 to boot! So I'll make the BLI my Easter Present, since my late Christmas present is on it's way from Maryland via 2nd day air. I AM A VERY HAPPY CAMPER! YAH! Besides, my other two Missabe 2-8-8-4's were starting to get lonely, right?

Well, I got a DH123AT decoder, an airbrush compressor, and the Modern Conveyor kit from Walthers. On an non-train note, I got two rocket motors and a launch rod.
