Good Morning, Folks! Just like our friend Galaxy, I did not catch much sleep this night. I woke up after only 3 hours and could not go back to sleep again for a (long) while. [/quote] My speech was affected a little in the first days after the stroke, but recovered quickly. It´s mainly my left leg troubling me now. The left arm and hand are quite OK, though quite shaky. PT helps to a degree to improve, but full recovery is written in the stars.It is like it is... "Plandampf" - the German word describing the use of steam power to pull regular scheduled trains. Not only a single train, but nearly all trains in a selected region and for 2 to 3 days! That´s quite an event, requiring a heck of an organisation and logistics. An effort worthwhile - nothing brings back the good old days of steam better! Today´s video shows "Plandampf" freight trains in the Werra Valley around Eisenach in Thuringia. At 5.35 min you can see Wartburg Castle - that´s where Martin Luther hid out to escape prosecution.
