Morning, Folks!

For the first time in years, I got 7 hours of sleep without interruption! Went to bed at 10pm and got up at 5am.

Flo, i´ll celebrate that with a big breakfast and make everything Barry-sized, please!

Today´s tour takes at to the island of Rugen in the northeast of Germany. Public transport on this island is largely by steam train, although the network is only a third of what it used to be.

I have two bonus videos today.

# 1 shows a steam train operated on the shortline between Wilstedt and my hometown to celebrate the centennial of the line. Too bad I missed the occasion!

Video # 2 shows a little bit of rail fanning at the train station of my home town.

Enjoy!
