Walthers older 90' turntable track code?
Posted by hon30critter on Saturday, August 3, 2019 11:38 PM

Hi folks,

My memory has failed me (again). What size track was used on the older Walthers 90' turntable kits, or did the builder install the rails? It has been a long time since I built mine and I can't remember whether or not I had to supply the rail.

Thanks,

Dave

Is this the model, Dave?

The sheet says "cut two lengths of rail [not included]"

I presume they made the groove to accept code 83 as they did in many other Cornerstone kits at that time.

Good Luck, Ed

Hi Ed,

Yes, that's the beast. Thanks.

I guess my mind is getting dull. It didn't occur to me to look up the instructions on line.

Now to figure out what sized rail I used. I'm at the point where I will be installing the rails in the roundhouse. The service area control panel has been installed and all the tortoises have been hooked up. Once the roundhouse rails are in place we can connect them too.
