After watching the report and reading the article I think the club members have the right attitude.

They are not really being given the boot. Their lease ran out, and they were even given an extension.

Unfortunately, a common problem for clubs in rented or leased space. All the time and work on a layout gone in a short time. Crying

The Baltimore Society of Engineers, the third oldest model railroad orgainization in the world, lost the lease they held since 1952.  They have since moved to an "interim" location.

All things considered, it seems like the Placer county club came off better than it could expect.  It did get an extra four months.
