Anyone own this Proto 2000 part?
Posted by Mister Mikado on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 12:11 PM

I'm trying to locate this Proto 2000 E8 universal joint part.  Can't find it online, only an out of stock package called "Life-Like Proto 2000 E6 E7 E8 E9 Worm Gear and Spline Shafts", the entire set.  I only need the part circled in red below.  Also, does anyone know if there's an Athearn equivalent?  Thanks everyone for any help.

The box on the upper right, on this page, with your account info, click on meaasages.

Maybe it hasn't gotten there yet.  You should also get an email notice to what ever email you provided when you signed up for in here.

It's a link to a listing on Ebay.  I didn't know if I could do that in here, I get confused on what we can and can't do. Confused

I also have an Athearn part I can send you.

Hello All,

Check out North West Short Line- -while they are still in business.

They manufacture many aftermarket drivetrain parts.

Hope this helps.

I have used A-Line drive shaft parts to replace the wobbly Proto sleeves and universals, too:

If Mike doesn't have what you need, PM me as I also have a stock of older Proto E unit parts.

Good Luck, Ed

Thank you as well Ed.  There are many kind angels on this forum.  I only see full sets of this item and I only need the one circled in red in the photo.  -Rob
