It was slow starting up from cold-boot (about 2 minutes), but once on, I was typically getting 500k-1Mb/sec downloads. I'd download 2-3 meg videos in 5-6 seconds tops. Never had a problem in that month I was there. I'd like to get it, but there's always that "for the first 6 months" hook. Makes me wonder what month 7 will charge at? I use Netscape to surf and don't typically have problems downloading videos even at 56k. It just takes forever and a day.
