Were all Bachmann On30 Shay's equipped with NMRA 8-pin connectors?

Does anyone know if all Bachmann On30 Shay locos came quipped with the NMRA 8-pin connector on the control board?

Thanks!

You can most likely find that out at the Bachmann site in the diagram pages where they show the parts of the locos.

I have seen them quite a few times for HO locos On30 locos. A few have the 21 pin.

Edit. Right now the parts page does not look clear to me. It might be 21 pin and you plug in a 21 pin sound module. Bachmann has done that with a few locos. There is a place for a speaker.

Best bet is to join the forums and ask.

The HO have an eight pin socket and I can see it in the parts list.

Good luck.

Thanks Rich, unfortunately none of the exploded parts diagrams show the control board or wiring.

Finally found it. Been really busy. Sorry. Was not easy to spot.

Remove the caps. They will have a C prefix. Do not worry abot the two inductors. A L prefix. They look like coils.

A few HO and On30 Bachmann come with a decoder and you have to slip in a sound card.
