How to access plans from MRExtra?
Posted by IDRick on Sunday, January 27, 2019 6:41 PM

I am an MR subscriber but cannot download the Omaha Road track plan.  Apparently, it was published in the January 2013 issue.  However, the track plan database lists the plan as being an MR extra and it is only available to MR Subscribers.  Hey, that's me!  Not sure why I can't access it as most plans are available to me on the track plan database.  Could my request be denied by the system because I am not a digital subscriber?  Any thoughts?

I can save it as an image but can't save it as a pdf.  The text is unreadable once the image is blown up to a larger size.  Can you save it as a pdf from your link?

Once again, it's part of the on going mess that is this web site.

I'm a subscriber, can't get the PDF, the same old box comes, asking you to check your subscription and enter an access code.  ??????

I shouldn't have to, you shouldn't have to, any magazine subscriber shouldn't have to, but it's not working that way.

Try calling MR CS , and if that doesn't work, find the number for the Kalmbach Co.

I have the issue.  Send me your contact info privately and I will scan the page to PDF and send it to you.

This morning I logged in using Chrome, and IE., and no luck, so I'm back in Fire Fox.

Subscribers using Zino, Nook, Apple, or Google Play, are the ones that need and have the access.

The rest of us magazine subscribers have access virtue of our subscription, NOT!

Maybe someday this will all go away.  I don't see how all of this is good for future subscriptions.

I have been using Chrome for years now and, for giggles and laughs, I tried to access the trackplan data base.  My experience was the same as Mike's.  My subscription renews this September and I am thinking about what I will do when July rolls around.

With my laptop, I totally missed the box at the bottom that said I had to be a subscriber.  I am subscriber, entered my account info in a separate window, it found my account.  The original window said, reload this page, I did, and it's the same.  I tried firefox and chrome.

You must be a subscriber!

Work around, click on the Blue MR banner at the top of this page.

Click on

It's in the Jan 2013 issue, there are no measurments or list of track, it's on a 4x8 sheet.

Rick I tried to send you a pm with a screen shot.  I'm not sure it worked.

Well, at least you can get a look at that way, and wow, surprise, I could get into the archives while being looged in!

Will wonders never cease!

When you do get access to the data base the way subscribers are supposed to, you also get a track plan, with out the scenery rendering, so you can make up a list of the track that is needed.

Oh well, waiting for the next small miracle, NOT holding my breath, BUT I am holding on to my money.
