i have bought a lot less this year... few reasons... i've been away at college and not had any time or space for trains, i havent gone to any train shows, and i havnt had a lotta money.... so my total purchases for this year so far have been: athearn SP 40 foot box car $2.00 athearn WP U-30B with a few details added $6.00 comparied with last year: walthers H-12-44 SP $35.00 bachmann plus B23-7 UP $15.00 athearn pair of dummy F7s SP $10.00 plus a bunch of freight cars and a few buildings so honesly the new sky rocketing prices for the fancy shmancy stuff really hasent affecte me since i buy almost exclusivly used stuff. but yeah, i dont care for the trend in the way the industry is going.
