buickguy,

An FWIW: You'll get a better response to your query if your subject title is more specific than just "Help!" because some folks just won't bother to click on the post to see what it's about.  Better to say something like "Looking for Thomas & Friends 'Gordon' locomotive in HO".

As suggested, I would try eBay and 2nd the recommendation on only dealing with a highly-rated sellers.  I usually draw the line at 99.5% positive feedback.

Yes, ebay is the place.

Anymore info about Thomas stuff, Bachmann site has a Thomas forum. Google Bachmann forums.

Any train shows in your area, Bachmann will be there with all kinds of Thomas and Friends.

Be specific in the subject line.

Good luck.

Amazon has two sets.

Check the below place. I have bougfht from them.

https://www.modeltrainstuff.com/bachmann-ho-00642-deluxe-thomas-the-tank-engine-with-annie-and-clarabel-set-including-e-z-track/

It seems Bachmann is selling two sets right now.

Be specific in the subject line.

I usually say that too, but let's not run off the newbie with snarky comments.

Someone needs to correct the Manta thread too.  Not because it matters now, but because it matters to the next guy who has the same question 6 months or 6 years from now.  He might spell it Mantua.

Apologies to the OP, I did not realize the ebay locos where not the electric locos he was asking about.

He did say new also.

I gave 0-27 tin plate to a eight year old nephew for his Christmas tree some years ago. Was he ever happy.

It appears that everyone likes Gordon......sold out on this site also.....but was a much better price. I have dealt with Hobbylinc for a number of yrs. and never had any problems with them, if You would like to continue to use them.

The last time I was in the Hobbytown USA in Brandon, Florida, they had an HO scale Gordon on the shelf.

.

It was pricey, but I do not know what the retail on these are.

Ha.....what a joke...everybody and their brother wants a Gordon.

Spoke with Eric at Tony's and He said should have them in March and You can get one from India if You want, but will cost you 300.00 plus shipping. Or order one from the UK on the link that Ulrich posted for 80 lb's which is 102.28 USD plus shipping.

Good Luck! Big Smile

Many a parent has been caught in the "must have it for Christamas" trap and paid through the nose.  If money is no object, then someone will have what is needed but prepare to pay through the nose.

.

I am guilty of this.

.

Paid too much for many of the Christmas gifts the girls wanted through the years. Would not change a thing. Happy Christmas memories were worth every penny.
