Waybill Resources

I've been looking around, both here and on the Net, and I came across something called Waybills. I'm supposing this is some way to organize and realistically run your layout. Does anyone know any resources on this, and posibly a freeware program you can download to help make them?

Scribble,

Old line Graphics has pre-printed sets:

Old Line Graphics
1604 Woodwell Road
Silver Spring, MD 20906
Phone 301-460-9193

They also have a software version available through the following:

Micro-Mark also sells similar sets:

www.micromark.com

I hope this helps! I bought the Micro-Mark set and copied it using MS-Word to make my own car cards/pockets.

If you have MS Access on your computer, there is an excellent free program for Car Cards and Waybills. If anyone would like a link, I can provide.

Dave H, do you have it up anywhere except Yahoo?

clinchvalley,
I have MS Access and would be interested in the link you mentioned for Car Cards and Waybills. I sounds like just what the doctor ordered. Thanks.

Remember its your railroad

Allan,

I'm playing catch up here and noticed no one got back to you with a link to Dave Husman's Access Car Card/Waybill generator program. I do not know if it's available elsewhere online, but the link I have is through the Yahoo! Operations Group. The link for the homepage of the group is: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Ry-ops-industrialSIG/ if you're interested in joining. I suppose you could just join, download the program, and quit the group. However, I would suggest you stay. You could ask Dave questions on the program if you have any or run into any problems that way.

The program is in the group FILES section under MS Applications. Yahoo also has a car cards group which Dave is a member of, as well. The link for that group is:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CarCards/

Hope this helps and happy New Year!
