I am laying out a freight yard and thinking of using walthers code 83 switches is this a good choice. I was thinking of using # 4's for the ladder. What are some of you out there using?

I use Atlas nickel silver code 83 rail. Mostly flextrack with some odds and ends. In my yards I use #4 and #6 custom-line turnouts, and on my main and sidings I use #6 custom-line turnouts. I do plan to add either some Walthers or other name brand track for slips, triple turnouts, and double cross-overs a bit later. The hump and hump yard classification tracks also get numerous amounts of rerailers, which simulate track retarders.
