Coupler issues
Posted by OS Cheyenne on Thursday, September 20, 2018 3:05 PM

 Hi,

I'm going to begin testing my rolling stock coupler height, and I wanted to know if there were any N scale underset shank couplers on the market. I suspect I will need them.

Any answers would be appreciated.

A quick web search suggests the MicroTrains 2004-1

Note that the instruction sheet on this page does not seem to show the underslung arrangement of the coupler correctly, so worth double-checking.

I have 44 years experience in  N scale and never found the need for underset shank couplers-even when I started body mounting couples in 2004 on my older Atlas and Roundhouse cars..
