Viewing Videos Causes Other Problems
Posted by cowman on Sunday, September 2, 2018 7:53 PM

Since a change in my computer to view MR videos caused the problem, I hope someone here can assist me.

Some time ago when our host updated some features on these forums, I lost my ability to watch videos on this site.  I had Internet Explorer at the time.  Recently my IT grandson was here and installed Chrome for me so that I could view them again.

Now the problem:  I no longer get my saved searches from ebay.  This is were I was able to find many modeling items I was looking for.  When I go to the old IE site there is no place to click for my mail, so can't use that site for mail.

Any suggestions on how to retrieve my ebay notifications would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Richard

Did you check ebay's settings?   They have made changes too

It appears that the ebay settings are still the same.

Thank you,

I use gmail, so I'm having trouble understanding what you mean by no place to get your mail.  IE is a browser, not a dedicated mail program.  How do you get your mail in chrome?

Who is your internet provider?  Has that changed?

You will have to search for your e-mail provider now, who was it. Chrome only has their g-mail on header but you can still acceses any e-mail by going to site. As far as e-bay, there would be no change in it that is affected by your browser.
