Has anyone gotten recent news from Bluerail? I bought an HO DC engine which I am kitbashing into an Sn42 engine. I thought it would be perfect for a Bluerail conversion. A few months ago, when I checked their website, they said they were expecting a new elease this fall. Just today, when I checked theur site, the main page still says check the "recent news" for more info. But the "recent news" feature is now nowhere to be found on their website. No news anywhere! They also never sent me any news, even though I signrd up for their newsletter. They are sure acting like a company in trouble. I saw the July posts here that said that because they were partnering with another comany they were bound to silence but the fact that they removed their news page seems strange. Has anyone heard anymore news? I hope they haven't crashed - their prodeuct has (had?) real potential! I would be happy to hear from anyone who knows more. Thanks in advance.

I have been wondering about them also. Months and months since they posted anything about their new partnership or progress in developing a new board. I agree that it is not looking good at all for this company. David Rees is not really communicating much about the status of things. Maybe Bachmann can take over here and expand their line of EZ App offerings including selling boards.
This being September 12, summer is almost over and still no word from them.
Yep - it doesn't look to good! Even a "we are still working on it" would be encouraging but there is no news on their site. To bad, the product has real potential!
They don't do status updates very often. They started out with a great product but are fast falling behind. Smallest reciver now in field is only .4x.65x.078, no sound or lights but that is small!!!!
Jim,
I agree with what you said. Nobody is asking for insider information, but we would like to know that Bluerail is at least alive. "Latest News", on the website, hasn't seen an update for close to 3 years. I bought two Bachman EZ-App locos and running them with the Bluerail app is wonderful. Even telling us the project has a pulse would be something. I understand Dave/Bluerail need a partner, to go to the next step, but I don't think they are doing themselves any favors by dropping off the face of the earth.

Jim: I got a quick message from them last week that pretty much said the same thing as the last news update they posted on their web site. No new information about when any new boards or other products are coming. I am not sure how they hope to stay in business after being silent for more than a year. Maybe they are being bought out entirely and any new products will come from what ever company is taking them over (if that is what is happening).
Maybe Bachmann is buying them out?
