Sad news

A good Friend of mine, Dave Wintermute 78, passed away Tuesday night in his sleep. He was a long time model railroader and used to love to travel all over to operate on different layouts. He may have been to some of your layouts if you are in the Ohio area.

Dave was at our operating session on Sunday, and again Monday evening for a work session. It was a great shock to hear of his passing.

I used to have an elderly gentleman that worked for me when I was Parts Mgr at a Chevy dealership. He used to say, "When I go, I just want to wake up dead". Yes Dave was a neat guy and we used to have a lot of fun with him. It was a real shock to find out he died about 24 hours after I had been with him.
