Bachmann G scale big hauler smoke unit modification?

I was wondering if there are an other smoke units that work with the Bachmann G scale Big hauler trains or, if I’m stuck with the one it came with. Thanks!

Check out Seuthe, they make smoke generators including G scale

Seuthe makes smoke generators in the old fashioned way. Little drops of paraffine are heated, generating clouds of smoke. The puff rate cannot be controlled and is not sunchronized with the turn of the wheels.

My best bet would be to nstay with the proprietary steam generator - unless you are prepared to cash out a significant amount of money to get one of the ESU smoke generators. These are fan driven units that emit quite a lot of smoke.

Figure on about $ 100 per unit.
