Good Morning! Flo - my usual Sunday fare, please! Did I write "Petra and I occupy the 2nd floor"? Well, it´s half of that! Our next door neighbor is a young couple with a newborn. Cute little baby, but quite noisy [:D] Johnboy and Garry - thanks for the comments and suggestions on that layout. With the changes I made, I am now in a position to go for it. All I still need is a few lengths of flex track and I will have all the track to build it. Johnboy - I´d like to hide those sharp curves completely. Minitrix R1 curves have a radius of less than 8", which works fine with the truck mounted couplers European stock has, but just looks silly. To give you an impression of the type of scenery I am going for - here is a pic of the Rhine Valley: <img src="https://shop.vgbahn.info/imgs/news/VGBahn/EJ%20Vorbild/Vorschau_Rheintal_Schelenz_V__xl.jpg" alt=" " /> The track really scrapes along the cliffs of the valley. I think I´ll be fine with this layout. It´ll be a long journey to come anywhere near completion, but that´s OK. I hope to be able to run the inaugural train by summer, meaning all track is laid & wired. Galaxy - hang in there! Make it a wonderful day!
