Is Bluerail trains still in business?

Last "news" from Bluerail trains was at least 4 months ago. Nothing in stock according to their website. No new announcements. They are looking like a dead company.

I asked BlueRail Trains for an update.  Here is Dave Rees reply,

"As people may be aware, BlueRail developed direct bluetooth train control (as licensed by Bachmann in their E-Z App product) as well as plug-in boards for use in existing trains. Based on user feedback, BlueRail decided the next logical step was to partner with a company with an extensive sound library and experience/expertise in DCC. As is common in the industry, confidentiality has limited what BlueRail can disclose until any product announcement is made. The product we have co-developed as a result of this is everything we hoped it would be. Because BlueRail is not the manufacturer, we do not define production and release dates. We are also learning a lot about product cycles and the pace of production/development in the industry (and how it relates to component availability and volumes). This has put BlueRail in an unfortunate position, because we can’t communicate to our users any details until things are finalized, nor can we dictate the timing. Life was easier when BlueRail acted as both sole developer and manufacturer and had the freedom to communicate updates at will, but to develop a product that will be a significant advance for the industry requires us to partner, which means we are not always in the driver seat. We regret that we have to remain silent, but we hope things will continue to play out and that we will be in the position soon to make an announcement that will prove worth the wait."
