GOOD MORNING JEREMY:

[#offtopic] First off, good luck on giving up smoking, after 10 years it was hard for me to quit but a very good friend of mine died at the age of 44 after smoking 5 packs a day and I laid them down and never pick them up again.

This may be out of your modeling era but, how about a slaughter house and stock yard. I didn't know what went in their utill the Lone Star convention a few weeks ago. Obviously stock cars but also hide cars (which are old box cars). Tank cars haul out the blood (65# per cow). Box and gons for fertilizer (dung). Refers for meat, not produce refers but the shorter ones. Flats bring in the big repair parts. Covered hoppers bring in feed.

From the end of your bookcase it looks like you are modeling some big R railroad. I assume that's that little reagonial railroad up north somewhere in Iowa or Kansas.[;)] Just to be sure I don't offend anyone, my tongue is in my cheek. I guess you think that the "Route of the Rockets is a good slogan. I have several of the old varney box cars that are silver. I usually buy ROCK cars that are a different color as Tuscan and Box car red get old after while.

Just food for thought.

Have a good day and remember SANTA FE ALL THE WAY

Bob
