I would like to thank everyone's help. Now a discovery of my own for anyone else looking for ships. I picked up a Revell model of a fireship in 1:87 scale and it gave me exactly what I wanted, the hull and the main deck. This is very easily converted to a two hatch coastal vessel. There is even two lines for painting a waterline in the display model, if you have a Dremel with a cutting disk you can easily make this into a waterline model.
