Are they still around?  Their one page website says it was updated for Dec.,2017, and the only contact is an email address, which I tried, last week Monday, still have no response.  I'm wondering if that's because of a holiday thing.

Since they went to the trouble of actually putting that date on the website, I think you can assume they are still around.

A place like that, you can also assume the only people there to answer the email, pack the boxes go to to the post office is Larry maybe his wife.  They are off to see the kids for Christmas would be my guess.

As a suggestion and is rather simple, go to Wm K. Walthers Company web-site and look at alphabetical listing of manufacturers. If Smokey Valley is still one of Willie K's vendors, something will be listed. Should nothing be listed and shown in inventory, contact Walthers Customers Service, either via surface mail ,e-mail and or toll free telephone number. Walther's can tell you if Smokey Valley is still kicking and or stiff as a board.

As of October of this year, they were still in business. I emailed Larry last May about several sets of stanchions  that I needed. He replied quickly and a said he could do them in a couple of weeks. Well, nothing happened for three months. In September I sent another email inquiring about the status of my request.  I got another quick response and he apologized for the delay and said he would have them soon. I received and invoice a few days later and once paid for I received the stanchions in about a week. He also offered to buy me a root beer if I was passing through Alabama!

Very good quality product.  You just need to be patient as it really is a "Pop & Mom" operation. Very much worth the wait in my opinion.

I checked Walters and Ebay before I asked.  Out of the 119 items they have listed, a couple of GP15 body shells is all that is in stock, along with a couple of things that I'm not looking for.

I'm looking for handrails, and all listing say "Out of stock, no info from vendor".

I'll keep looking for an alternative.  I always thought SV had the best looking stanchions around.

Some times SV stuff shows up on Ebay.
