I'm sure there are some South Florida model railroaders in the Palm Beach, Broward or Dade counties that are on these forums. While I looked in the coming events area to see if there are any events going on during the next few weekends (none listed), maybe others know of them. I know there is a club at the Palm Beach County Fairgrounds, and was looking for others or some train shows?
Thanks in advance to all who reply.
Neal
You say you checked the Coming Events listings above, did you check the club listings just below it? I'm not familiar with your area, so don't know what other cities you may be close to.
Good luck,
Richard
Im a member of the Palm Beach Model Railroaders, we are open to the public during the South Florida Fair 1/12-1/28.
Not much going on down here as far as shows now.

The Treasure Coast Model Railroad Club is in Port St. Lucie in an old fire station.

I've visited there a few times. It's HO scale, fairly large and well-kept.
It takes an iron man to play with a toy iron horse.
Thanks Henry! I'll be back down on the 14th as my wife and I are going to the fair that weekend. I'm doing the snowflake/snowbird routine and just started the framework for the layout I will have down here. Hope to meet you at the fair!
Neal,
.
If you want to drive across the state, Scale Rails of Southwest Florida is having their annual train show and sale in Fort Myers on February 17th and 18th. 10:00 to 4:00 both days. It will be in the Shriner's Araba Temple.
I don't know why this is not featured in coming events.
I will be there selling off some surplus items.
The club layout will also be open on tran show days. It is worth visiting. It was featured in Great Model Railroads a couple of years ago.

Living the dream.
Thanks Kevin. I'll be back up in NY for business that weekend (big trade show for work), and not back here until 3rd week of March. Thanks for the invite!
