Last Christmas, my daughter and her husband gave me a Bachman Plus loco. They were really excited to give it to me and, thus, it has sentimental value to me. I attempted to install a TCS soundboard and KA, but found that this one was above my level of understanding. So I took it to one of the train stores here in North Phoenix. I dropped it off two months ago and didn't hear a word from them. Today, I stopped in to see what had been done with the installation and found it was still sitting on the shelf. Nothing had been done. I was told the TCS was fried. A phone call would have been nice sometime suring those two months. OK, enough venting.
Can anyone recommend someone who I can mail my train to who can install a new TCS (I'll get a replacement from them for the fried one) and KA? The loco is a Bachmand Plus EMD SD45 Diesel (SF B/Y War Bonnet) #5408.
Thanks.
Jim
Jim,
If you are in the Phoenix area, Litchfield Station (Avondale) would be my recommendation. Their customer service is terrific and they do installs.
