When the Mentor (Menter?) family sold MDC Roundhouse to the "new Athearn", not Horizon Hobbies, what became of the manufacturing facility in Carson City, Nevada?
Did all tooling go to Athearn?
Probably closed and sold off. Most MDC assets went to Athearn and Athearn's products (including former MDC & Details West) are made in China now.
