help needed to hold trucks from Atlas yellow box SD35
Posted by LEOFUTURE on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 5:50 PM

The truck holder of Atlas yellow box SD35 can no longer snap hold the truck reliably, I tried to use a thin wire to tie the truck to the frame (while leave some freedom for the truck to rotate), but it does not work well, resulting in bangbang, seems like the wheels are not of the same height. Any help will be highly appreaciated!

I looked at the Atlas website and it's not clear what holds the trucks, at least not to me, but they list part no's.  Maybe they have a part that will work for your problem.

Thanks, it is the truck frame and it will snap onto the truck, the wheels sit in between.

Back when i had a few of the same locomotives that snap was easy broke you had to go easy to take it off to oil the gears.
