This semi-scratchbuilt boxcar is a recently-built favourite...

I had the roof, from Red Caboose, on-hand, and used ladders from Intermountain, doors from Bowser, and brake gear from Tichy.  Sill steps are from A-Line, Kadee couplers and trucks from perhaps Atlas.
Rivets are from either Archer or MicroMark, and lettering from Speedwitch.

The scratchbuilt stuff is mainly the underbody and brake rigging, and the body shell and its sheathing.  I hope to do better on the subsequent ones.

More little people working, please

I tried to post this yesterday but had trouble uploading to my photo sharing site. I see there have been two others since with new requests for flat car or gondala loads so I'll leave those in place. Here is my little people working.

Who can remember when gas station attendants not only pumped your gas but checked your oil and cleaned your windshield? When not busy doing that they would do service work on other people's cars in the bays.

A pair of Santa Fe F7s lead a mixed freight around the curve at the west end of the BRVRR layout on Santa Fe day. We will have to assume that the two visible reefers are hauling fruit or vegetables.

More trains with reefers please.
