Making Roads
Posted by bbrant on Thursday, December 16, 2004 1:49 PM
Can anyone offer any tips or recommendations on how to make realistic roads? I've tried plaster in the past and they came out less than stellar.

Thanks

Heres a link to how Joe Fugate does it:

The rest of his site is worth looking at too.

I tried to sell my two cents worth, but no one would give me a plug nickel for it.

I don't have a leg to stand on.

I use matte poster board..it's thicker than regular poster board and have great results...roads look good if they are the right colors...I use cement and gray colors for the road base and use pastel chalks to weather oil and grease stains on the road...
