Hello everyone,
I am currently building a N scale layout. It is 3x6 feet and has 2 track sections, an outer loop which is continuous and an inner loop which has some switches in it. I have put down the outer track and I am currently working on the inner track. I plan to put 3 switches on the inner loop and I want to use atlas code 80 remote switches. However, when planning my layout this I could not find the different radii of the various options for atlas code 80 switches. So, my question is, what are the various radii of the different kind of atlas switches? Also (because my layout is so small) what is the type with the smallest radius? Finally, what is common and avalible?
Thanks so much,
-Ben
The Standard Switch will replace a 19" radius or 5" straight in your track plan. None of the other turnouts have a direct curve replacement.

or
You could download XTrakcad and print out full size templates for the switches to see what fits before purchasing switches. XTrakcad is a free program http://www.xtrkcad.org/Wikka/DownloadPage
I tried to sell my two cents worth, but no one would give me a plug nickel for it.
I don't have a leg to stand on.
