Wow, just reading the descriptions of the layouts on the tour was fun. I wish I lived closer.  There are some nice layouts to see.

Yes Both Gil Frietag and his sons layouts are masterpieces

Gil's takes up the whole upstairs of his house

with floor to ceiling scenery Its a lifetime of work

Seems like the LSR only does one every 6-8 years

and usually when its held in Dallas

The attendence for this convention was lighter than they hoped for
