I hope all those gauges and control panel doen't go confusing Motorman Bear!!

Heh-heh, already thought of that. You know how certain thermostats aren't hooked up to anything, simply being there to give people the idea they're in control of the temp?
In this case, the gauges are all blank (despite being big enough to draw at least an indicator on), leaving whatever it is they're showing entirely to the imagination of the viewer
There will be a 1,356 page manual that Motorman Bear Jones will be able to consult in case of confusion...All the pages are blank
