I recently purchased an n scale Kato C44-9W without a box the road number is #9695,does anyone know the catalogue number please?

According to the Kato website, it produced only one Union Pacific (which had #9695):

item #176-3613; N GE C44-9W Union Pacific; road # 9564

But I see diff. road #'s on eBay.

According to Spookshow Website , Kato introduced them in 1997

They were revised in 2007 and 2009

Thanks. I now believe it was an unnumbered loco that had decals added by a previous owner.Kato did list an unnumbered loco.
