Uploading and Posting .xls, .docx, and etc.

I don't have a model RR blog (yet) to post links from so, I'm wondering, is there a way to share .xls, .docx, and etc. type of material, I've created, by posting to this forum?

I don't believe so. This Forum hosts only text; even photos must be linked from an outside host. So even if they could be displayed here (which I doubt), you'd still have to post the documents themselves elsewhere. And since dangerous macros can be included in documents of those formats, we're not likely to change that.

You make a PDF of your document, put the .pdf on a public server and then link to it.

You want to know how the lLION runs the railroad of him, you can download  the Opperations Manual.

LION has his own servers, so you are just pulling it off of my own network.

EWE on the udder hand (used to milk cows) need a server where you can host documents other than pictures. Perhaps you can do it from Drop Box or maybe not, depends on how you set it up.

Blogs are nice, but somewhat limited, Websites are far better as you can put anything you like on them, and there still are plenty of free webhosting  options available. You would be using a house URL such as http://subways2020.tripod.com/

It will cost you about $10/year for a personal url such as broadwaylion.com

Web hosting costs me nothing, but again, I have four servers sitting right next to me. I can even reach over and pet them, but then the cat (who is hungry) would get envyous and would claw me.

Something like http://www.filehosting.org/ seems like it would work for what you want.

Ok. Thanks, Steven.  I'm new and just wanted to be sure I wasn't overlooking something in my Account Settings or the Forum that was avail.
