I am laying flex track for the first time will offer a finding that most of you are probably aware of. My diesels run fine , but my 4-8-2 Spectrum Heavy Mountain is impossible. It derails with the slightest glitch. What I found by closely watching the lead driver is that any change in downhill elevation within the length of the engine will cause the lead driver to lift up and come down off the track. This is especially true on curves. I had thought kinky track would be a problem, but I have found that elevation gradients are even more of a problem. Since it took me a while to discover this, I thought it may be helpful to others. <br />Bryant
