"The Old and New." Pennsylvania K-4 #1361 (old) at the head of a short passenger train and PRR E8 #5713 (new) with a consist of modernized passenger cars round the curve at the west end of the Black River Valley layout.

Show me another diesel/steamer photo.

A couple of NYC Mohawks are being serviced while, in the background, new EMD passenger Diesels are passing right through, with no need to get coal or have their fires cleaned!

New York Central S-1b Niagara #6024 and L-4a Mohawk #3101 meet under the coaling tower.  Both locos are by Broadway Limited, the coaling tower is Walthers Cornerstone.
