Good Morning!

Summer seems to have gone for good in my neck of the woods. There is more than just a scent of Fall in the air. I must have missed something - I am still waiting for some beautiful Summer days...

Zoe, as it is Sunday, may I have my high-carb, high-fat, high-cholesterol and low-fiber Sunday breakfast, please? Thank you, dear!

Good to see some familiar faces are rejoining us here in the Diner! I was getting worried about Vinnie and the girls having to close down the place due to low patronage.

Ken - I understand that Nancy is the wife of the owner of the place you work in, so it is perfectly OK to split her commission on sales she makes between the paid staff, but I don´t understand , why you have to share your commission with the other staff. I don´t think it is much of an incentive to turn lurkers into buyers that way.

Steve - good job on that lantern! I hope you are not mad at me for firing that shot at you in your layout thread - I just want to prevent you from making the mistakes I made. Look at your plan and check the space you have for buildings! O scale buildings require a footprint about 4 times bigger than HO scale buildings!

Jeff - did you take that shot? Wonderful!

Mark - your employer´s negligence on the lease really sucks! Having to move without getting compensated also sucks! More important, however, is that you are now cancer-free! Congratulation!

PATom - nice railfanning pictures - keep them coming. During my better days, I bought a BMW 3 series convertible for my wife as her shopping chart. It was black, with tan leather upholstery, electric folding roof, cherry wood applications - a real beauty. But she did not like it, so I sold it after a few months. Never drove it with the roof down - [sigh]

No real plans for the day, maybe I will be doing some more research on layout ideas to have a basis for upcoming decisions.

Make it a great day!
