Welcome to the board. Glad to see another new face tonight. <br />As long as you get nails that will reach through the ties roadbed and into the wood or other base underneath. Nothing specail. Make sure you get thin enough to fit through the hole but thick enough to hold it down. If you use to big of a nail you will crack your ties real easily. Another option is glue. Which if you are like me and rebuild all the time, it creates problems. I've rerbuilt 3 times since christmas. But finally on my final trackplan <br />Andrew Miller
