Show Me Something for May
Posted by Lone Wolf and Santa Fe on Sunday, May 1, 2016 4:43 PM

The last request was for a swimming pool. Swimming pools and movie stars, that's California.

Since it is May, please show me some flowers or at least some bushes.

A bit chilly here in the Great Lakes area for the swimming pool! Sure looks inviting, though...

Here, a couple stroll through The Union Station Botanical Flower Garden and Memorial Park.

Lone Wolf and Santa Fe
Please show me more locomotive latches.

Through the 1960s, it seems like the NYC ran diesels in any configuration possible! Here, an EMD F-7 leads an F-M C-liner, an Alco RS-2 and an Alco FB-2 on a westbound freight.

Show me more diesel combinations from different builders.

Due to the lack of action on the last request let me offer this! A real old pic probably taken right after the "last spike" was pounded home. How big is a pike size passenger train anyway? Does this qualify?

Show me a photo taken right after the mainline was finished.Smile

I’m not sure if I understand what you mean about “show a scene from the origin of your layout”

Here is a picture of Mexican Canyon Trestle at Cloudcroft New Mexico.  I fell in love with this trestle in the mid 1960s and I had to have a trestle on my layout.

Just to show that the motorcycles are on the Boothbay layout:

Riding the curve after the grade crossing
